What did you learn at that job that you apply to your job at Stow-Glen everyday?
Since a very young age I have loved working and being around the geriatric population as there is so much wisdom and appreciation from them. A simple smile, a hug or a kind word can absolutely change your day. This age populations have given so much to others that it's wonderful to be able to care and ensure for their quality of life.
Tell us a little about yourself:
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio temporarily leaving the state to care for my aging grandfather when I was 15 years old. I returned to Ohio after he passed and continued my education at Magnificat High School. In 1986 I started my college education at Otterbein College where I majored in Business Adminisration and minored in Psychology. I met my husband there and we were married in 1992, then welcomed a set of twins into our lives on July 4th, 1995. Along with my husband, son and daughter; we share our home with my mother-in-law, 2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit and a bird. When I am not working, I am actively involved in my church, Cornerstone Community and continue to support my children in their music endeavors.
